Southwest Florida Seminole Club

About

The SWFL Seminole Club is governed by its elected Board of Directors and is affiliated with the Alumni Association of the Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. We are a non-profit, tax-exempt charitable organization with a strong and productive network of Florida State alumni, students, supporters and fans who collectively strive to create an extension of the Florida State University experience in Fort Myers and the surrounding Charlotte and Collier County area.

The club promotes involvement and continued support of FSU through its members’ contribution of their talents, time and fundraising efforts to meet the specific needs and goals of the University and local FSU community. Academic excellence, athletic achievement and the promotion of a positive and enduring public image of Florida State serve as the cornerstones for all social and philanthropic efforts of the club.

We encourage you to join the Alumni Association and/or Seminole Boosters and you will automatically become not only a member of the SWFL Seminole Club, but also all of the Seminole Clubs across the United States.

The Club has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Florida State University since we began. The Club is a Platinium Chief member of FSU National Boosters. Multiple scholarships have been awarded to students in Southwest Florida.

We invite all interested FSU Alumni, fans and supporter to not only join our club, but to actively participate in the development of our programs and club vision. Our club meetings are generally held on a monthly basis, if interested in more information please contact us.

Be sure to consult the Events page regularly as several are held during the year.  In addition to the website, announcements of the meetings, guest speakers, and upcoming events are updated regularly on the SWFL Seminole Club page on Facebook and on Twitter.

On behalf of all of our members, we want to thank you for visiting our website, and we invite you to join us for an upcoming event.
